The Digital Society research network and lab seeks to give students with an interest in digitisation an opportunity to write one’s thesis in collaboration with a company, spar with digital experts and increase one’s knowledge of data and technology use in digital media and services.
We post job adverts here on an ongoing basis, as well as project ideas for theses, recommendations for articles, and adverts for interesting activities.
In the fall of 2017 Digital Society was contacted by a group of students from Master’s degree programme in Media Science, who wanted to use one of Digital Society’s grand challenges as their case.
In this process the group, consisting of Morten, Michela, Nanna, Sofie & Line, worked on how to convey the Grand Challenge concerning the Survival of Quality Content in the digital society of the day and how to do so in the best possible way.
Here you can read more about the project and watch the video they produced.
The annual Aarhus University IT-City hackathon, AU Hack 2018, is to be planned and in that connection, the steering group is looking for student volunteers who would like to join the making of this awesome interdisciplinary hackathon which features exciting business cases, cool events and inspiring talks and – most importantly – a bunch of great people from various educations all interested in digital product and business development.
This is a great opportunity for you to try out your skills, meet students from other educations and expand your network.
